Where does the data come from?
Completed sales and accepted offers on Goat Mart over the previous 90 days, filtered to the same breed, weight band, age band and city. Listings that never sold are excluded, because asking prices are not evidence.
My animal is exceptional. Can I ask more?
Yes, and the range accounts for it: the upper figure reflects the top quartile of comparable sales. Beyond that you need documentation — a pedigree certificate or a show record — to justify it to a buyer.
Do prices really change that much in Qurbani season?
For eligible animals, yes. The June premium averaged 14% last year and reached 22% for well-presented Beetal males in the final ten days.
