Cookie policy
Three kinds of cookies run on Goat Mart: the ones that keep you signed in, the ones that remember your settings, and the ones that tell us what to fix. Only the first is required.

Essential cookies
These keep the platform working. They sign you in, hold your session, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, balance traffic across servers and remember that you have seen the cookie notice. The platform cannot function without them, so they are not optional.

Lifetime: Session, or up to 12 months for the notice acknowledgement.
Preference cookies
These remember choices you have made so the platform behaves the way you left it: your city or region, language and text direction, measurement units, saved filters and layout preferences. Turning them off does not block access, but you will have to set your preferences again on each visit.

Lifetime: Up to 12 months.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how the platform is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, which searches fail, where people drop out and which errors occur — so we can fix problems and improve the product. We use them for measurement only, not to build advertising profiles.

- Page and screen views
- Search and filter usage
- Performance and error reporting
- Aggregated device and browser statistics
Lifetime: Up to 24 months.
2. The categories we use
We group cookies into three categories: essential, preference and analytics. Essential cookies are required for the platform to work. Preference and analytics cookies are optional and can be refused or deleted at any time without losing access to the platform.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
3. First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by Goat Mart. Third-party cookies may be set by the services we rely on to run the platform, such as hosting and content delivery, error monitoring, analytics, embedded maps or videos, and payment pages.
Third-party services shown on Goat Mart — including veterinarians, transporters, inspectors, consultants and shops — are independent businesses. Goat Mart does not employ, supervise, guarantee or accept responsibility for their work, conduct, pricing, licensing or outcomes.
Those providers set their own cookies under their own policies, which we do not control. If you follow a link from Goat Mart to another website, that site's cookie practices apply, not ours.
4. Your consent
Essential cookies are placed on the basis of our legitimate interest in delivering a secure, working service. Preference and analytics cookies are placed only where you allow them, and you may change or withdraw that choice at any time.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything collected before you withdrew it, and it does not affect your access to the platform.
5. How to control cookies
You have several ways to control cookies, and you can combine them:
- Use the cookie notice or your account preferences on Goat Mart to accept or refuse optional categories.
- Change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Every major browser — Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Opera — offers this under Settings, then Privacy or Site settings.
- Use private or incognito browsing, which clears cookies when you close the window.
- Clear stored site data for goatmart.pk from your browser at any time.
- On a mobile device, reset or limit the advertising identifier in your system privacy settings.

7. How this fits with our privacy policy
Information collected through cookies is handled in line with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, our lawful basis, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the rights you hold over it.
8. Limits and governing law
The platform, its content, calculators, market data and directories are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Goat Mart, its founder, team, contractors and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, livestock, income, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from or connected to your use of the platform. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to Goat Mart for the service in question during the three months preceding the claim, or PKR 5,000, whichever is lower.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts at Lahore, Punjab shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you hold as a consumer.
