Goat Mart is a technology platform that operates as a classified listing and information venue only. It connects buyers and sellers by publishing user-created listings and providing communication tools such as in-app chat and shared contact details (phone number, WhatsApp, email). Goat Mart does not process, collect, hold, release, guarantee or intermediate any payment between buyers and sellers. All financial transactions, price negotiations, delivery arrangements, inspections and agreements are conducted entirely and directly between the buyer and the seller at their own risk and discretion. Goat Mart does not own, breed, house, transport, inspect or sell any animal or product listed on the platform and is not a party to, guarantor of, or intermediary in any contract or transaction between users.

Prefer verified buyers

A phone-verified buyer with a real profile history is far less likely to be a fraud attempt or a time-waster.

Verify payment before handover

All payments happen directly between buyer and seller. Confirm receipt in your own bank account, wallet or cash count before releasing the animal — never rely on screenshots alone.

Keep negotiation in chat

Goat Mart chat keeps a record of the agreed price and terms, which protects you if a dispute is later raised.

Document agreed terms in writing

Use Goat Mart chat, WhatsApp, phone or email to document the agreed price, payment method, delivery terms and return conditions before any money changes hands.

Verify your identity early — unverified listings get far fewer serious enquiries.
Photograph the animal clearly, including any faults, so a buyer cannot dispute condition later.
Never share your CNIC or bank details in chat — Goat Mart never asks for these outside the verification form.
Be cautious of buyers who rush you to skip inspection or move the conversation off-platform.
Report any buyer who pressures you, threatens a bad review to extract a discount, or asks for a refund after collection.
Keep your delivery or handover proof — a signed note or timestamped photo — for at least 30 days.

Your obligations

What every seller must do

These are contractual requirements under our Terms & conditions, not suggestions. Breaking them can cost you your listing, your badge or your account.

Describe the animal or product accurately, including breed, age, weight, pregnancy status and any known defect, illness or injury.
Use photographs and videos of the actual animal or item you are selling, taken recently.
Only list animals and goods you own, or are lawfully authorised to sell on someone else's behalf.
Never upload forged, altered or borrowed documents, including vaccination cards, certificates and ownership papers.
Comply with provincial and federal livestock, movement, transport, quarantine, welfare and slaughter law, and hold any permit required.
Honour the price and terms you agreed in chat, and tell the buyer immediately if anything about the animal changes before handover.

Prohibited listings

Diseased, drugged or stolen animals; misrepresented age, weight, breed or health; forged documents; payment-pressure scams; harassment; and protected or illegal species are all prohibited. Listings may be removed and accounts closed without notice or refund, and serious cases are referred to law enforcement.

Chargebacks and bad-faith refund demands

Keep the chat, the agreed price, the handover photo and any signed note. A buyer who reverses a payment after collecting an animal is in breach of our Refund & returns policy, and that record is what protects you.

Religious and veterinary claims

Do not describe an animal as Qurbani approved, disease free or guaranteed. Goat Mart issues no religious ruling and no health certification, and a claim you cannot prove is a claim a buyer can bring against you personally.

What Goat Mart is responsible for — and what it is not

Please read this before listing. It applies to every listing, badge, calculator and directory on the platform.

Your listing is your legal responsibility

You must verify who you are dealing with

You are solely responsible for verifying any animal, product, seller, buyer, shop, farm or service provider before entering into a transaction, sending money, or acting on any information found here. This includes full responsibility for negotiating, agreeing and completing payment directly with the other party through whatever method you both choose (cash, bank transfer, JazzCash, Easypaisa or any other means). Goat Mart does not verify, process, hold or guarantee any payment made between users. Inspect in person, confirm documentation and use independent professionals where the value warrants it.

You indemnify us for your listings and conduct

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Goat Mart, its founder and its team from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your listings, your content, your transactions with other users, any payment or financial dealing between you and another user, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right. This indemnity covers all claims arising from buyer-seller transactions to which Goat Mart is not a party.

Our tools give estimates, not valuations

All calculators, estimators, price intelligence and breed guidance are informational aids based on general formulas and available market inputs. They are estimates, not measurements, valuations, veterinary diagnoses, religious rulings, or financial advice. Always confirm with a physical weighing, a registered veterinarian, a qualified religious scholar or a professional adviser before acting.

No veterinary, legal or religious advice

Nothing on Goat Mart constitutes veterinary, medical, legal, financial, tax, religious or investment advice. Content is general in nature and may not suit your circumstances.

The service is provided as is

The platform, its content, calculators, market data and directories are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Off-platform dealing is unprotected

All payments and financial transactions between buyers and sellers on Goat Mart are conducted directly between the parties and are entirely outside Goat Mart's involvement. Goat Mart does not process, receive, hold, mediate or guarantee any payment between users. The platform provides classified listing, communication and informational tools only. Users are solely responsible for agreeing and verifying payment terms, methods and security before sending any money, whether through cash, bank transfer, mobile wallet, or any other channel.

Our liability is limited

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including the Electronic Transactions Ordinance 2002, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and all applicable provincial and federal consumer protection legislation, Goat Mart, its founder, team, contractors and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of profit, revenue, livestock, income, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from or connected to your use of the platform, any listing, any transaction between users, or any communication conducted through or discovered on the platform. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid to Goat Mart for platform services (such as listing fees, featured placements or subscriptions) during the three months preceding the claim, or PKR 5,000, whichever is lower. This limitation expressly excludes any buyer-seller transaction amount, as Goat Mart is not a party to such transactions.

Marketplace data notice

Listings, shops, farms, providers, prices, statistics and dashboard figures are provided by independent users or generated from platform activity and market inputs. Goat Mart does not process or handle any payment between users. Always verify animals, products, identities, prices, payment methods and documents independently before relying on them or sending money. Community forum posts are member-generated opinions, not official Goat Mart advice.
